Welcome to Leslie Plays in Clay! I am a ceramic artist living in Massachusetts. After a career in food science and philanthropy, I moved to Massachusetts in 2013 and found my tribe at Worcester Center for Crafts. I create custom-made, one-of-a-kind ceramic art such as bracelets, necklaces, pins, and especially earrings. I also make plates, bowls, and sculptures.
While I appear at occasional art shows, most of my work is sold online. I love the process of handcrafting something that might get worn with love and pride for years to come.
When not playing in clay, I can be found exploring New England, listening to audiobooks, and hanging out with my husband and our Silver Labrador, Coltrane, who enjoys an occasional eBike ride.
